From Tokyo

Train: In Shinjuku , take the JR Chuo Line and go west to Otsuki Station. In Otsuki, transfer to the Fujikyu Line. The Fujikyu Line runs to Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko Stations. There are Fujikyu Buses from Fujiyoshida Station and Kawaguchiko Station.

Train: Take Shinkansen to Mishima Station. From there, buses run to Gotenba. In Gotenma , you can catch another Fujikyu Bus to Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko. From April until November, buses also run from Shinfuji and Funinomiya.
